"Justice Served" Featured Play at Drama Circle, Saturday October 8

The Saturday,  October 8th Drama Circle will feature the reading of one play, "Justice Served" by Athol resident Steve Silva and a chapter of a "play" within a novel by Kevin Romano of Petersham.  The Drama Circle is dedicated to original works of the stage and screen and is open to the public free of charge.  Saturday’s readings are scheduled from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. at the White Elephant Yoga Studio, 19 East Main Street in Orange, Massachusetts.

Kevin Romana
"Justice Served" by Steve Silva is the story of a young woman who loses her home in a landmark eminent domain case.   She decides to turn the tables on the judge who cast the case's deciding vote by travelling to the quaint New England village where he lives and encouraging the townspeople to take his home using the very same law.   The second reading, chapter 12 of a novel in progress by Kevin Romano, reads like a miniture play involving a confrontation in a cafe between two Hindu women dancers.

-- The Drama Circle is sponsored by the performing arts division of the non-profit organization, Art for Life.  Readings are scheduled for the second Saturday of each month.  If you are an actor or interested in participating in a reading or having an original play or screenplay read, please contact the artistic director Genevieve Fraser at Tel. (978) 544-1872, or email: FraserGenevieve@gmail.com.  For further information, see the website: http://www.thedramacircle.blogspot.com
