Call for Actors and Writers for the “The Drama Circle”

The Drama Circle, which is dedicated to original works of the stage and screen, is seeking actors and writers to participate in readings.  The next meeting of The Drama Circle is scheduled for Saturday, July 9 between 2:00 – 5:00 pm at the Art for Life building, 7 East Main Street in Orange, MA.

At the June 11 meeting, two plays by South Carolinian playwright, Rene Plante were read, the comedy, “P. A. (Playwrights Anonymous)” and the futuristic drama, “The Coming of Age” about so-called self-extermination centers.  The plays were read by Charles Tower, Susan Pepper, Evelyn Dumont, Julie Graziano, Genevieve Fraser, and the playwright’s niece, Charlene Deam.

The Drama Circle is sponsored by the performing arts division of the non-profit organization, Art for Life, and is open to the public free of charge, according to organizer and artistic director Genevieve Fraser.  Readings are scheduled for the second Saturday of each month.
